To select an effect, click on its name, its time line, or its icon in the effects chain. Note: the effects chain appears both in the Time Lines window and in the main window. The selected effect is outlined in blue. The effect’s tile in the effects chain and effect controller scroll into view in the document window. In addition, the video affected by the effect becomes the selected video in the main window.
To delete an effect or audio track, click on its red X.
To modify the start and end times for an effect, click and drag on the start or end marker for that effect. Note that the exact start and end times for the selected effect appear at the top of the window.
To change when an effect appears in the video or when an audio track is played, without changing the length of the effect, click and drag on the selection.
To reorder effects, drag the icons in the effects chain. The effects chain appears in both the main window and the Time Lines window.
To set a loop time for live video, change the value in the text field in the upper left corner of the window. This field is visible only in the Time Lines window for the Live Action Camera window.
